Do you take a percentage of my sales?
No. BrandHive is subscription-only. Orders and commissions flow through the platform as records, and we take no percentage of them.
Who pays the agents?
You do, directly from your own bank account. BrandHive calculates what's owed, generates the payment file (AU ABA or NZ direct credit), and records the payout. Your agent then confirms they received it. We never hold or transfer funds.
Do agents pay anything?
No. The agent app is free; brands pay a monthly subscription.
What counts as an agent seat?
An active independent agent connected to your organisation. Agents themselves don't pay; seats are how brand plans scale. If you reach your plan's seat limit, you'll be prompted to upgrade before adding another agent.
Does BrandHive work in both Australia and New Zealand?
Yes. Currency, tax and date formats follow your organisation's settings, Xero works on both sides of the Tasman, and settlement exports the right payment file for your bank: ABA for Australian accounts, direct credit for New Zealand accounts.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month. You can change plans from your billing settings.
What happens if I cancel?
Your subscription ends at the close of the billing period and your organisation moves to the Free plan's limits. Your data stays yours: you can export your orders, commissions and statements at any time.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes, that's the intended path. Start free, bring on your first agents, and upgrade when you hit the seat limit or want territories, Xero and CRM.
