Why we built BrandHive
BrandHive started the way most rep channels run: a spreadsheet, an inbox, and a monthly argument about commission that nobody enjoyed. We'd watched emerging brands win shelf space through independent agents (the hardest, most human part of getting a product into the world) and then lose the plot in the admin behind it. The orders were real, the relationships were real, but the numbers lived in six places and agreed in none of them. So we built the missing system: one ledger for orders, commissions, territories and payouts that both sides can see.
The movement
BrandHive is for the people the traditional model leaves out. The brilliant salesperson who can't work full time but can own a territory. The parent who sells three brands they genuinely love, on school hours. The semi-retired rep whose relationships are worth more than any ad budget. And the founder who will never afford a payroll of reps, but could grow through ten independent agents who each treat the brand like their own.
Software makes it workable. The movement is the point: more brands on more shelves, and more people earning real income from selling, on their own terms.
What we believe
- Transparency both sides can see.
- Independent reps are a profession, not a stopgap.
- Make no promise the product can't keep.
